Too much backlinks doesn't guarantee the effectiveness of the website.
Backlink is just one of the factors search engines considered when ranking a site (serp).

Yes backlinks are important but focus on generating quality links that has some relevance to the topic of your page.linking without reason may negatively affect pr.

yes but now a days only natural back-link will work all other fake links are blocked by seo
