A 302 redirect means the page you're looking for has been temporary moved and the search engine should continue to index the old page URL.
If you're changing domain names better use a 301 redirect.

A 302 status code means Found, or all the more normally alluded to as "incidentally moved." This redirect doesn't convey or pass the connection worth to the new area. What it does do is get the client to a proper area for you with the goal that you aren't revealing to them a broken connection, a 404 page not found .

A 302 status code means Found, or more commonly referred to as “temporarily moved.” This redirect doesn’t carry or pass the link value to the new location.

302 redirect can be on-domain or off-domain, On-domain is simple and not let to hijacking. It is really a long URL or URL with the session id. A 302 redirect means that move is temporary.

The 302 redirection is described in RFC2616.

When a URL returns a 302 redirect, it means that the owner of this link asks users to continue to use this address as the redirect could be modified at some later time. The owner of the page pointed to by the redirect is not necessarily the same person and might not wish that its contents is presented as belonging to another web site.

A 302 redirect means that the move is temporary.
