In my opinion the social media is becoming another spamming opportunity platform for spammers out there. you need to understand that social media is not a platform to SELL things!!!!
It is to connect, spread awareness and communicate. I think this is an advantage of Facebook on twitter, it is built on much stronger platform and is much robust than other contemporaries, you cannot Spam massively on Facebook.
