When you enter a query on Google or any other web search engine, you see list of results which are nothing but webpages which have content relevant to your query. Thousands of such webpages are shown in the list of results. Nearly on all the search engines, by default only 10 webpages links are listed on a single page. On Google you have option to show upto 100 results on a single page. These pages on which the list of different webpages are shown are called SERPs i.e. Search Engine Results Pages.
