PPC stands for pay-per-click, a model of internet marketing in which advertisers pay a fee each time one of their ads is clicked. Essentially, it's a way of buying visits to your site, rather than attempting to “earn” those visits organically. Search engine advertising is one of the most popular forms of PPC.

Pay per click (PPC), also called cost per click, is an internet advertising model used to direct traffic to websites, in which advertisers pay the publisher (typically a website owner or a host of website) when the ad is clicked. It is defined simply as “the amount spent to get an advertisement clicked.

When it comes to boosting traffic to your website, you have two basic options: pay-per-click (PPC) advertising or search engine optimization (SEO). You can pay for traffic using the PPC advertising programs provided by Google Adwords, Yahoo Search Marketing and others

That's pay-per-click advertising (specifically Google AdWords PPC, which we'll talk about below). Here's how it works: Every time your ad is clicked, sending a visitor to your website, you pay the search engine a small fee. (That's why it's called “pay per click.”)

PPC advertising program enables your website to get more targeted traffic towards your website. PPC can be extensively tracked. It's paid advertising method of search engine, advertiser have to pay cost for clicks and display, if a visitors click on your add then specific amount of cost you have to pay depends on keywords competition..PPC providers allow you to set upper limits on your cost-per-click and total daily spend, meaning you only spend as much as you want.

Provides highly targeted website traffic
>Provide immediate results
>You are able to track conversions
>Test Keywords
>Attract Qualified Leads

You need to know that PPC doesn't work as good as it could but if you have attractive landing page then you might be able to convert some of the visitors.
