Orkut also a nice social networking site, but it is not so popular because of advance social and micro blogging site.

orkut is social site with no active audience in it, so you get boring seeing profile of other. I would suggest to active social media site. where you can rapid interact with people.

In orkut also you create and you can maintain different communities, but this not that much great than FB.

i do nt suggest to u to use the orkut i prefer to use Facebook.com that have all the qualities.

Orkut is not recently used by more of the persons because the most popular site Facebook is the best social site.Orkut do nt provide the facility like a Facebook.

Countries such as Brazil, orkut is more popular than the FB. But there is so difficult to run the page. People just do not know this. I would like more information.
