Having your site rank high in the search engines is the most reliable source for targeted traffic IMO. Once you get it ranking high in the SERPS the customers will FIND YOU instead of you having to think up ways to FIND THEM

PPC requires an upfront investment of your money and constant attention. The majority of casual searchers are also more likely to click on a link to an actual page than an ad beside it as well. Not to say PPC doesn't work...It does work and works well if you do it correctly.

Nothing beats ranking on page one for a popular search though. NOTHING
