Yes i did agree with you. One more point is , If you want more followers then you should follow others who interested the same in you. Social media drives more quality traffics rather than doing white hat SEO.

To build followers on social network an individual has to share images, videos and contents and blogs to different social sites, increase the list of friends to your account who will help you to increase the followers on social networks. Post ads and banners to increase the followers.

on twitter it's more like a give and take relation. Follow others they will follow you back

First you should follow someone who sharing the related news that you will going share.
If you follow 10 members then atleast 5 members will follow you back. Then you share the interesting news. At least 2 of them click and check out what was you shared. Like this manner, keep doing it until you get satisfied. This is best ever way to get followers and promote our business in all social media's.

i think everyone addicted to facebook, twitter and the rest would be ideal candidate for this job.

You are correct People are addicted to social media. I think be take their cell phone to bed with them to be on social media. From a marketing perspective it is easy to target your customer base in social media. It is a tough nut to crack to get clients from it.
