Blog commenting is a great way for getting quality backlinks socially from high or blogs.. But you have to leave useful comments or you will be wasting your time, moderators will delete you comment right away if it's not related to the article in the blog.

Commenting on high PR blogs still works. It not only gives you quality back links but it drives a lot of traffic to your website. But the condition is that it has to be relevant.

Blog Commenting was very good technique in old days... but now in this trend.. forum posting is tacking advantages.. over blog commenting .

If you make comments on relevant sites, or on sites which are really good, it would be beneficial. Doing Comments on high PR spammy sites just to get links will harm your sites.

Blog commenting may be dangerous when your commenting on not a relevant blog and your not familiar with the topic .

Try to comment on only High PR and reputed blogs and dont post more than 1 comment on each blog.
