Has Google Decided It Doesn't Like Outgoing Links?
I was looking the sites now listed above my site in Google and many of them do not have any "links" section. Even though I have a higher PR (7) than almost everyone of those sites, they are showing up higher.
Is this what now Google wants - sites with few or no outgoing links? This would ruin what the web was orginately designed to do - link good sites to other good sites, but if that is what Google wants now... I'm thinking that perhaps I just need to create an offshot site, (e.g. sitenamelinks.com) and find a different (i.e. dirt cheap) host for it. I'd point to it from my current site, but all of the link exchanges would be done via this seperate site. Is this now necessary? Thoughts?
