I have affiliate site and i have start SEO for the site.
How much time i require to rank my keywords on first page of Google?

Hi alina albert,

That completely depends on the keywords you are targeting, for example 'movie' would take a very long time because the competition is so big. But if you are targeting 'documentory about fly fishing' then it would be easier and quicker to rank on Google.

You shouldn't worry about how long it will take though, concentrate on building good backlinks and a social network presence - Google ranking will come naturally.

I would encourage you to do your keyword research prior to building your site, and before deciding on a product to promote. Like Phil said, the competition for your keywords is a big factor in your page rank. Some keywords you will not rank for, ever, due to the overwhelming competition for those keywords.

Google keyword is the recommended tool to analysis those keyword competition. As per PhilComforthost is good to targeted niche and long tail keyword, then only targeted high competition words.

In most situation, niche keywords can generate more quality equiry than general keywords.

Its depends on your keywords, what kind of keywords in your garden and what is competitive and the numbers of research on it but nothing is impossible, you can sort keywords difficult within three to four months .

You may never be able to list it first on Google if the keyword has some great competition. And you can beat some keywords only if you advertise with Google and that costs like hell.
