How to allow only registered users to comment in WordPress?

If you don't want a comment from a new user on your blog, check the option "Users must be registered and logged in to comment" from Discussions under the Settings option.

In wordpress if you want to protect your website from spam comments then there are various ways to do that. You can use any plugin like Akismet, WP-SpamShield etc.

You can choose anyone and protect your website from SPAM comments.
