Submit your backlinks to social bookmarking directories and Ping them both techniques are so useful for indexing backlinks. You can index back links by pinging them but it is process in which how times search engine takes is not known.You can see many sites like pingfarm,pingler.

Yes Indexed Back-links helpful to your site, which is link popularity. So do SBM, Article posting, Create Blogs, Form discussions etc.
