competitor analysis in marketing and strategic management is an assessment of the strengths and weakness of current and potential competitors, This analysis provides both an offensive and defensive strategic context to identify opportunities and threats.
First step of doing this is first identify your current competitors. What products or services they are selling. How much market share they have ? What were their past strategies ? Are they using the same strategy ? How aggressive are they on the advertising front. How competitive are they ? Are their strength and weakness are same as yours ? How big of a threat are they to you. How do their strategies effect your business .
