If your site have canonical issue then we use this tag it is soft temporary solution of canonical about 95%

Canonical tag is an attribute in the HTML code; it allows administrators to prevent duplicate website content through the identification tag or card canonical preferred.

Another option for dealing with duplicate content is to utilize the rel=canonical tag. The rel=canonical tag passes the same amount of link juice (ranking power) as a 301 redirect, and often takes much less development time to implement.

Canonical tagging is nothing but adding a HTML element is to the section of an html page. This helps Google to identify duplicate content by specifying word "Canonical", Google will identify what is preferred version (URL) of the page. It is supported by Yahoo & Bing as-well.

meaning is where it relates to the Internet, SEO and search engines; helping search engines identify which is the original page in relation to duplicated content.
