Static websites contain fixed number of pages.
Theme of website and content of webpage are fixed.

Dynamic websites can create webpage dynamically.
Webpage design and content may change on run time.

The difference between static websites and dynamic websites is that static websites appear the same for every user that accesses them and only change when a developer modifies the source files, whereas dynamic websites can present different information to different visitors.

What is the difference between Static and Dynamic Website?

A static website is one with stable content, where every user sees the exact same thing on each individual page. On the other hand, a dynamic website is one where content is pulled on-the-fly, allowing its content to change with the user.
While static websites tend to be informational, dynamic websites contain interactive, continually changing elements. As a result, web developers typically use a combination of client-side and server-side programming to create a truly interactive website experience for visitors.

A static page does not change the content. It can be, for example, a company website where usually little changes. For example, the forum is dynamic, the content changes and is added. New subpages are generated.
