I think w3school is the best place for you to learn HTML 5 and CSS3, it covers nearly everything about web design and is suitable for beginners. Good luck.

I have made a lot of search for resources of learning HTML and CSS, PHP. But I could not found a better resource rather than W3Cschool.

As suggested above by others, no doubt w3schools.com is a good place to learn different coding languages

if you want to learn them then you must visit the w3schools.com because there you can find the tutorials as well as the live examples of each learning step. instead of this you should search the lynda.com for video tutorials.

For basic level w3school is the best place to learn every thing of web design and web development. In w3school you can test your example in the code editor example panel. Also try dynamic-drive for advance CSS ideas.

Thank you
