App vs dApp
App stands for Application, An application is a software program that designed to perform a specific function directly for the user or, in some cases for another application program.
dApps stands for decentralized applications. Same as app it provides a utility to a user. The difference is that dapp safeguards user privacy and it is censorship resistant. It all achieves that by running its digital applications on a blockchain network of computers instead of relying on a single computer.
