Question which is better php vs asp.net

hi,
i have craze about web designing plus development. now i want to do courses web development which is better language and demanded language to build website. help me please

PHP is interpreted at the server, so when changing a functionality, no additional steps are required to see the changes. On the other hand, ASP.net needs to be compiled each time the code is modified. Again, the development process is more time-consuming when using ASP.net as opposed to PHP.

It totally depends on you, where you want to build your career. You should choose PHP if you want to be a open source developer. But if you want to make more money in corporate world than you should choose .NET

PHP is in more trend and easier language as compared to ASP.Net

As of my experience PHP is better not because it is Open source and ROI is far better then ASP.Net but it also include the Libraries which are far better then ASP example PDF Lib.

even the first language that i learned was php.
