Is webpage's age really matter? - Site Owners Forums

Hi Friends,
I have a website, It's domain is more than 8 years old. Two months ago, we have created some new pages on it with rich and informative content than our competitors' website. I have done content marketing and get back links from high DA websites, but still these pages' rank in SERP is down as compared to others. I have done competitors analysis for the keywords, many competitors haven't any content and back links for those pages(ranked well). Please suggest me.

One of the very important things to note here is that Matt does not say that domain age doesn't matter.
