I think in the seo process both no follow and do follow links matter
do follow count as back link to the site from search engine. It's important for site ranking to get quality back links.
no follow doesn't count as back link to the site from search engine but it can be helpful as an traffic generate source if it's come from high pr sites.

Search engines doesn't pass any weight-age to nofollow links and dofollow links are very beneficial for a website to get good ranking in search engines.

Do-Follow Links are good for Human Traffic and SEO Traffic.
No-Follow Links are only good for Human Traffic which is still the best traffic you can have.
Better to get high ranking on search engines.

I think, Dofollow link : Google crawl, index and then generate back link.
Nofollow link: Google just crawl the link.

Do follow and nofollow link method is so important for seo. if any link is nofollow, that link not be crawl by search engine bot. only do follow link can be crawl by bot.

Actually the search engines handle nofollow differently. Google will not follow the link, assign PR to it, or give it weight in its algorithm. Yahoo will follow the link but give it no weight in their algorithm. MSN says they won't give the link any value but it is hard to confirm exactly what they're doing.

do follow link is very important for the search engines to crawl the pages and it also increase the visitors but no follow links are as good as do follow because it only increase visitors. crawlers does not crawl the page.
We should make do follow links, it would be good for our websites.
