Clear app data — or resetting an app. Clearing app data is a little more drastic. You're wiping the cache, but also clearing any and all settings that go along with that app. You're basically starting that app over, from scratch, and it'll behave as it did the first time you installed it

A cache is a place to store something temporarily in a computing environment. In computing, active data is often cached to shorten data access times, reduce latency and improve input/output.

cache is a snapshot of a web page that Google creates and stores after they have indexed a page. When pages are indexed, they are categorized and filed within Google's indexers, but they do not actively search though millions of web pages every time that page is called up.

Cache can be either a reserved section of main memory or an independent high-speed storage device. Two types of caching are commonly used in personal computers: memory caching and disk caching.

In the very simplest of definitions, cache is a snapshot of a web page that Google creates and stores after they have indexed a page. When pages are indexed, they are categorized and filed within Google's indexers, but they do not actively search though millions of web pages every time that page is called up.

A lot of functions in SeoTools retrieves information from a webpage (or other sources from the internet) that are marked as cached.
