301 is the best seo method for webpage redirection. It is easy to implement & it should conserve search engine rankings for that particular web page.

A 301 redirect is the most efficient and search engine friendly method for webpage redirection. It is a permanent redirect from one URL to another. 301 redirects send site visitors and search engines to a different URL than the one they originally typed into their browser or selected from a search engine results page.

A 301 redirect is utilized to ensure that web indexes and clients are sent to the right page. A 301 status code is utilized when any page has been forever moved to another area. Clients will now observe the new page as it has supplanted the old page. This will change the URL of the page when it appears in web search tool comes about.
