You need to have the right and relevant ads, which will display the unique content on your site. The better it is, the more visitors you'll get. That is the way of earning good money.

To get more money with adsense the best thing to is set up channels, make the color scheme reflect the same color as the site. Google adsense has a lot of good information as to where to place the ads and which ones make the most money. You have to make sure that you get a lot of traffic and watch your CTR, which you want to have at least at 3 to 5 percent.

Ok I have been using adsense for quite awhile and my main site that gets the most traffic has a horrible click through rate, like .1%. I thought that it might be because I had too many affiliate ads, none of which were producing. So recently I eliminated the affiliate marketing, added an inline adsense box color coordinated to my web colors and I am still at .1%. Any suggestions? My numbers are not great with between 300-400 page impressions aday.

Yes, content is king as they say. Eventually all your keywords will start to get picked up and traffic will come from different directions. A little from here and there.
