I know that On Site Optimization and Off Site Optimization, both are very important for any search engine.

But For Google which one is more Important?

The number of thing which we do in on page it is very important for Google. And good back links is also important for Google because page rank is depend on the backlinks of your website.

We can't choose any one factor to achieve higher rank.Its just that the search engine algorithm gives privilege to the fresh content (Google Caeffine) and relevant backlinks while ranking the site.

Both are connected to each other so if one of the thing is not done properly, it will purely affect on website rankings.

Both are important but Off Page Optimization plays much more role in ranking of the keywords.

These days i think on-page contents of website is more important then anything else. This is due to the fact after google panda update which mainly target low quality contents website and decrease the ranking...
