Facebook gives nofollow links to your website. I wish they'd change the rules.

Get a DoFollow link from Facebook high authority site by following the simple outlined steps below.

1.) First, you will want to visit the official Facebook site and log into your Facebook account.
2.) After logging into or creating a new account, you will access your FB fan page.
3.) After accessing or creating your own Facebook page, you will open a Facebook App called Static HTML.
4.) Click on "Add Static HTML to a Page".
5.) You will see a new tab open on (Add Page Tab).
6.) If you have more than one Facebook page associated with your FB account, you will be given the option to choose the page that you want to add the DoFollow link to.
7.) After choosing the Facebook Fan page that you want to use, you will click on "Add Page Tab".
8.) So now that you succeeded in adding the Static HTML to your Facebook page, you must visit the Facebook page (your FB fan page), and click on the "Welcome" tab.
9.) After clicking the "Welcome Tab", you will see a light-green button appear that says "Edit Tab --- >". Click this button.
10.) Now, you will insert your code (HTML link) into the box with "index" selected. Here is an example snippet of the code you will use:
<a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="http://yoursite.com">anchor text</a>
11.) Next, click "Save & Publish".
12.) Now, all that's left to do is just click on "Done Tab Editing", and you got yourself a DoFollow backlink from a PR9 authority site! Thanks Facebook! This will give your site a great boost in the SERPs.

I think there is no chance to get do-follow back-link from Facebook.

Backlinks simply mean other sites that are linking back to your site.

They may link to your site because

- they find your site to be of interest to their audience (whether positive or negative)
- your site has great, witty or unique information that they want to share to their readers
- you requested them to link to your site or include your site in their list of recommended resources or related links, if they have any
- you went to their forum and put a post there with a link to your site
- you can also buy backlinks from websites like SEOclerks.
