CPC-based advertising allows websites to pay only for the targeted niche they receive. In the competitive online marketplace, this can spell growth much more quickly than other advertising methods.

With pay per click in search engine advertising, the advertiser would typically bid on a keyword so the PPC rate changes. On single website -- or network of content websites -- the site publisher would usually set a fixed pay per click rate. Also called cost-per-click (CPC).

CPC is Cost Per Click it is a method based on the principle that client pays each time someone clicks on their links, published by Google, Overture (Goto / Yahoo), Facebook, etc. in their search pages and other strategic places across web and with email (concept of adsense).

Cost per click (CPC) is a method websites use to bill based on the number of times a visitor clicks on an advertisement. The alternative is cost per thousand (CPM), which is the number of impressions, or viewers, in thousands, regardless of whether each viewer clicks on the advertisement or not.

In all of my campaigns I have been selecting the cost per click payment method but never really looked at the cost per impression method.

I want to quantify calcium with alizarin red and extract it with cetylpyridinium chloride (CPC). As I found different SOPs for that questions regarding the right buffer and wave length came up.

Pay-per-click (PPC), also called cost per click (CPC), is an internet advertising model used to direct traffic to websites, in which an advertiser pays a publisher (typically a website owner or a network of websites) when the ad is clicked.
