There really is no such thing as inbound linking, per se, but there are inbound links to your site, such as the amount of inbound links pointing to your site which gives it authority and reputation with a result of higher Serps.

The Hyperlinks that link to your webpage from other websites are called as inbound links or Back links. This will helpful to increase your website ranking in search engine result pages.

The first site has little to no inbound links. The second site has lots and lots. And they're legit links - no directories or link submission programs
