broken link is a link that doesn't work, often resulting in an error page. A broken link happens when the link points to a web page that has been deleted or moved.

A broken link is a link that doesn't work, often resulting in an error page. A broken link happens when the link points to a web page that has been deleted or moved. Why is it important to fix a broken link? Links that are broken will effectively stop search engines from completely indexing your website.

A broken link or dead link is a link on a web page that no longer works because the website is encountering one or more of the reasons below. An improper URL entered for the link by the website owner. The destination website removed the linked web page (causing what is known as a 404 error)

A broken link consists a connection in an HTML document to a URL that is not working properly, esp. or not redirected properly because it goes to a Web page that is no longer available or which has moved to another server.

Broken Links are that link pages which does not exists. when anyone check those pages shows 404 error pages and the pages could not found. Broken links are not helpful for website. when a visitor enter into a broken page and watch 404 error he leaves quickly and search another way.
