Keep adding quality content to your site besides obtaining do follow links from high page rank sites.

For ranking in Google , you have to focus on links, Social media, content etc, But yahoo according to my observation gives importance to both the links -nofollow as well as dofollow.So do link building.

The secret to getting ranked in Yahoo is having a lot of relevant content you sites. If you have 200 more pages of content then your competitor, Yahoo will consider your site as the authority.
