it is obvious that we are doing all the things related to web promotion but what is the difference between SEO and SMO. Please share your open views about it....

SEO is divided into two onpage and offpage optimization and getting organic traffic and keyword ranking, but SMO is social media optimization is not helpful in getting keyword ranking but helps you lot only in getting huge amount of traffic to your website.

Both are different but related to web promotion.SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization.SEO used for only traffic,keywords ranking,backlinks and SMO stands for Social Media Optimization.SMO used for business traffic only.SEO and SMO process and method is too different.

SMO is social media optimization which is used for brand building brand awareness. You can run paid campaigns or share your content on different communities or groups on social media sites relevant to your niche.
