I Think likes can be fake ... but Targeted likes matters more than Likes...... if you have targeted market likes then it is great...

It is useful when people visit your page and like it and they are now able to get your daily and hourly updates. In this way they are able to see what you updates and if they like your updates they will share it and click on the links which are submit it by you. So in this way you are able to get traffic and visitors.

When people who are on facebook LIKE your webpage or website, all their friends see it and could potentially send visitors to your website or page. Imagine if a facebook user LIkES your page and he has 3,000 friends. That's 3,000 people who have now been exposed to your website.
Facebook LIKES is a good thing! Get it if you haven't already.

there are many things that can be done through facebook likes.... but do remember keep your likes targeted ..... if these likes are targeted then try to post relevant content to the facebook page...then see the result...
