Mostly I use keywordtool.io and Google Adwords for searching different keywords related to the niche of the website in which I work. These are best for finding the exact keyword which could give a huge competition to the competitors in the market.

Yes Keyword Planner is a good tool to find keywords for your site. Please note for new sites or for business who are fairly new, Choose keywords which are low in Competition, this will help google to rank your keyword high in Search Engines
