There are many ways to get traffic to your website. The main source can be search engines, but don't depend too much on SE traffic as they constantly keep changing their rules. The recent updates by Google have affected many site's traffic. So, you should diversify your traffic sources. You can do the following to get traffic from various sources other than search engines:

1. Submit to hundreds of relevant web directories
2. Regularly post at forums related to your niche.
3. Regularly write articles and submit articles to various article directories
4. Youtube is a big traffic source - produce good, engaging videos and publish them regularly on Youtube.

These are just some of the ways to get traffic to your site. If you work on it regularly for many weeks or months and have quality content on your website you might start getting the desired amount of traffic. Hope that answers your question
