Hello friends I want to know that what is meta search engines? Is google is a meta search engine?

If you are asking for those search engines which care about meta tags then every search engine is meta search engine. Search engine give away ranking to those website which have well optimize meta tags, specially title, description and heading tags...

Search engines frequently have different ways they expect requests submitted. For example, some search engines allow the usage of the word "AND" while others require "+" and others require only a space to combine words.

Yes Meta search engine shows Meta title and description of particular website in search result. Google, Yahoo and Bing are Meta search engine.

Meta search engines have not their own database they use all other search engine results and create a combination of those results into large listing

Examples of Hybrid Search Engines are:

1) Metacrawler (www.metacrawler.com)
2) Dogpile (www.dogpile.com)
