PPC conversion rate is the percentage of your PPC traffic that turns into paying customers. If you generate 100 clicks per month from PPC ads and 10 of those visitors make a purchase, your conversion rate is 10%.

The average PPC conversion rate across all industries is about 3.75% for search. And it is at about 0.77% for display networks. This conversion rate, of course, varies with each industry. For instance, the conversion rates for the Dating and Personal industry is as high as 9% for search.

The conversion rate is the number of conversions divided by the total number of visitors. For example, if an e-commerce site receives 200 visitors in a month and has 50 sales, the conversion rate would be 50 divided by 200, or 25%. A conversion can refer to any desired action that you want the user to take.

Conversion rate is calculated by dividing the number of conversions by number of clicks received for that ad.

Conversion Ratio

It's a measure of how many of your visitors actually complete the transaction you led them to. On average 2% of all visitors to retail sites end up as customers. Conversion rate varies by industry.
