Traffic is more important because PR is work on traffic, so if traffic is good the PR will be increase.

Both are important because Google page rank depends on quality backlinks. Also quality traffic comes through websites there have been backlinks placed.

Google Page Rank and Traffic both has there own value. Google Page Rank all about how Google counting link votes and determining which pages are most important based on them.
Google traffic are depend upon the number of visitor on your site. Google PR depend upon many factor like, No of links for that page, quality of back link, content of that page..etc

PR can stands for Page Rank or Press Release. SERPs Stands for search engine result pages. Both are completely different. Both have their own importance. Yes it is true page rank can not play important role in SERPs.

Page Rank and Traffic are both are very important and useful but both have their other places.. Traffic shows that how your keywords are working, how many users are visiting your site by which keyword. and high PR is useful for google crowling...

I give the preference to PR or page rank. because as much good is PR the traffic is also good in that website. but Traffic can be more and if bounce rate is also more than its not good.
