2G and 3G differences can be defines as their quality of sending and receiving data at a specific time. In 2G you can make call and send text, use a limited number of data sending while using WAP or internet in your cell phone.
Whereas in 3G the speed is quit faster. That means you can make video calls, live streaming videos from your mobile and watch tv also. Means in 3G it gives you freedom to send and receive data amount alot. Now a days 4G is using which provide more data sending then 3G. |

2G can only send text messages and making a simple call while 3G you can already use video calls, watch t.v and can send a larger data compare to 2G

In 3G, You can also call video call with no disturbance having the best quality and good speed, its not possible in 2G.

2G is A gsm network the frequence is 850/900/1800/1900 but 3G the frequence is 2100MHZ it is much faster when you browse interent,so if you want to be quick on website suggest you use 3G,if not 2G also good

2G is stand for 2nd Generation and 3G stand for 3rd generation ,these are the improvements in the technologies ,as well mobile services and many other communication services

On average, the speed of data transmission on a 2G network is only 170Kbps, while in 3G networks the downloading speed can go up to 42Mbps (or 43,000 Kbps).
