During the second day of the Google IO 2012 developers conference, Google's VP of Chrome and Apps Sundar Pichai, boasted that Chrome is now the most popular browser in the world.In fact, Pichai added that Google Chrome is up to 310 million active users, which is a significant increase from the 160 million users from last year."Chrome was built for a better web, but we want to make sure Chrome works as a layer for your personalized web, " said Pichai. "It works consistently and seamlessly across all of your devices."

Well....Google Chrome is most popular browser for fast internet surfing and as well for SEO works. It is having different tools for many applications in it's web store..

hi, there was a time when we have only microsoft internet explorer. but we have many now a days among those no:1 is Google's Chrome on 2nd no we have firefox and so on.

it's heavier than Mozilla firefox.

Chrome is a top choice when it comes to browsing the web world and there is no doubt about this issue but when you look at statistics, you will notice that today, nearly everyone is using more than one browsing tool to surf and search the net and it does make sense because every browser has different capabilities when it comes to looking for information and displaying contents online. It is suggested to have Chrome, Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and even Opera on computers to surf the net better.

Personally I love Chrome. At my place of business we have over 300 PC's all loaded with Chrome. Haven't had any issues with incompatibility yet.

While Chrome has been leapfrogging the incumbent Internet Explorer on weekends for some time now, the week of May 14th–20th marks the first time Chrome has averaged a higher traffic share over a full seven-day stretch.
