Hello noahwilson,

Semantic SEO means to target most relevant keywords for the content which will help to increase traffic and SERP rank in the search engine because search engine serves the best and relative results to user as per their search query hence we can get benefit by adding most popular semantic words in your title tag, meta tags, h1 tag etc.

If you want to rank high in semantic search, the only factor is not about to put your keywords in right places, important thing to know about the actual meaning behind those keywords and create content around that specifically.

There’s a lack of content. Then you go to the larger sites, like TripAdvisor or Booking.com, where the content is more robust,

Latent Semantic Indexing (LSI) is used by Google and other major search engines. The contents of a webpage are crawled by a search engine and the most common words and phrases are collated and identified as the keywords for the page. LSI looks for synonyms related to the title of your page.

semantic search is all about offering search results that are related to the query, and not necessarily limited to results that just include that specific keyword. Semantic search takes into account the context as well as the meaning of the search query. In the past it was the links and the anchor text associated with those links that gave Google bots a clue about the contents of the page, but semantic search is now giving the bots a chance to look at all of the content around the link to make a conclusion.
