dot com is good for seo. after dot com you can use dot net also

Its depend on your business, if you want worldwide business than .com is better and if you want to do local business for any specific country like UK, AU, India than .co.in, .co.uk, .au these domain will be really helpful.

.com is considered as Top level domain.So better go for .com Domain

It depends on your target market. If you are targeting a particular country then country specific domain extension may be more useful. If global market is target then .com is the best. By default .com is mostly preferred.
