I think now a days link building is not helping to improve our website ranking in SEO. The quality content is enough to get Good rank in top search engine. What you think about this?

Yes its right, google is also not publishing page ranks after 2012.Google panda penguin update now focuses only on original and relevant content.The reason is because due to blogs and forums link building has become easy.

Yes that's right only a quality unique content is more helpful for a website to rank well and perform well in Google SERP.

To improve search rankings for content “it is no longer good enough to concentrate on the number of links or keywords” says the latest SearchMetrics Report, Ranking Factors Study 2014. The study concludes that high quality, relevant content with semantically comprehensive wording is the way to improve your SEO rankings but “the absolute primary focus for content … is quality.”

The report highlights four content factors that correlate with higher rankings as follows:

I think so, quality content is rocking in Google, Content is king and a quality content is a key to Google rankings. The panda update of Google also based on the quality of content, if the quality of your website content is not good then your website will be penalized by the Google.
