The ideal time to visit Rajasthan is during the winter months, from October to March. Here's why:
1. Pleasant Weather (October to March): Daytime temperatures are comfortable, ranging from 15°C to 30°C (59°F to 86°F), perfect for exploring the desert landscapes, forts, and palaces. Cool evenings make it more enjoyable for outdoor activities, such as camel rides and sightseeing. 2. Avoiding Extreme Heat: During the summer months (April to June), temperatures can soar above 40°C (104°F), especially in desert areas like Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, and Bikaner. The extreme heat can make travel uncomfortable. 3. Festivals: Rajasthan is home to vibrant festivals like Diwali (October-November), Pushkar Camel Fair (November), and Teej (celebrated in August or September), which offer unique cultural experiences. 4. Best for Outdoor Activities: With moderate weather, it's the perfect time for activities like camel safaris, visiting Ranthambhore National Park for wildlife spotting, or exploring the Thar Desert. 5. Attractions: Rajasthan’s top tourist destinations like Jaipur, Udaipur, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, and Ajmer are best explored during this time, as the weather is more conducive to enjoying the local architecture, markets, and outdoor landmarks.

If you are planning a trip to Rajasthan. Then October to Feburary is the time to travel. During summer season the heat will be soo much, you won't be able to bare the heat. I hope this help.

The ideal time to visit Rajasthan is during the cooler months from October to March, when the weather is pleasant and comfortable for sightseeing. This period avoids the intense heat of the summer, making it perfect for exploring forts, palaces, and desert landscapes. Festivals like Diwali and the Pushkar Camel Fair also take place during this season, adding vibrant cultural experiences. However, winter evenings can be chilly, so packing some warm clothes is advisable.
