why you compare mobile with laptop and desktop?
mobile is another technology, well i prefer desktop. so many reasons.

It depends on your requirement, for portability laptop is better, for home purpose desktop is better.

laptop - so much more flexiblity
mobile - keeps in touch with everyone - alot of apps to work from Desktop - old reliable
