Sitemaps plays an important role in your website. It is the format that is understandable by the search engines. Sitemaps helps in getting your page indexed and allows the search engine to crawl your website. It enables the user to find any particular information on your website. There are few types of Sitemaps that you will come across while performing SEO and they are:
HTML sitemaps: They are for the user guidance. XML sitemaps: These sitemaps are for the search engines and is known as Google Sitemap.
