I have read that some people claim that having longer post in our Article will perform better than shorter one, in term of ranking.. is it true? Does anyone here experienced this?

I can certainly assure you that a page full with quality content will outrank a poor researched ,I have tried this myself and seen the difference in my rankings.The hummingbird update is an algorithm that filters long quality content out of short and poor one ,and it was a major introduction by Google last year.

No, in blogging to does not matter if your article is longer or shorter. Your blog article must be quality and trending. It will be automatically ranked well if it will be a quality content..

Longer article with pictures will help with a better ranking. Also detailed information in the blog not just a bunch of jargon. Depends what site your posting the blog or article to.

I don't think longer articles will give you a better ranking because it is not about how much or how long you can give but the amount of value you can offer to your audience.

No need to write long and long article because article length should be minimum 600 word and Article should be unique and relevant to your site. It will help to boost website ranking.

Article as long as the quality is going, this has been appreciated through the google algorithm because it means that they have invested in for good content articles

Its never matter that your content should longer, Because traffic depends on informative and unique content. Visitor would only like to visit your website, if your content interesting, informative and unique. So always try to built a post which attract visitor.

Longer article means you have more interesting stuff to read (also high text/html ratio that SEs like) and can lead to your visitors to spend more time reading it and also may help in reducing the bounce rate too.
