i just started selling my own product online, and everyone is telling me to advertise on google. what is so good about google?

People are more likely to visit Google to find their best, of course your product will be sell if you advertise there.

well if the cost of the ad is cheap compared to what your selling and your rate of converting traffic to sales... it stands that google being the biggest search engines can get your product showed off to the right crowed.

You should create a ad campaign to advertise in google via google adwords.
