Alexa is decreased day by day always. If you are getting a lots of users on website on daily basis.
On the other hand -: If your alexa is increased, it means you are getting a low user on website i.e not good for website. You need to do some off page activities which give you lots of traffic and that will decrease your alexa . So that was why you need to decrease your alexa.
