Keywords are vital to SEO. It's important to use alt image tags to add more keywords to pages. Every image and thumbnail on your site is a potential way for people to discover your page. Keywords should be relevant to the content of the page. Simply including words trying to get hits may ruin credibility and ultimately hurt your ranking. Be sure to include related words to the image. Many newbies in web development may skip this step by leaving out alt tags.
