KEYWORD density is the measurement of how frequently a KEYWORD appears on a webpage. Previously, the number of KEYWORDS that were present, were a direct ranking factor for that KEYWORD, but eventually KEYWORD stuffing , and as a result Google now places far less importance on the presence of KEYWORDS.
